Very cute! My one suggestion is to try to make the colors in the figure contrast with the background because the shirt blends in with the background a bit. I don't know much about pixel art, but I think it looks pretty good!

Not bad. Your art has a definite style to it, which is good. The one thing I suggest you work on is consistent shading. Other than that, it's pretty good. :)
